Baptisms

For all infant baptisms or baptisms for children under the age of seven, please call the Rectory for an appointment.

The ordinary time for baptism of all persons over the age of seven is at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday Night.  Please contact the rectory for information the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) or the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC).  Please note:  other arrangements for baptism can be made if circumstances warrant it.

Marriage Preparation

Couples contemplating marriage should call the Rectory for an appointment before setting a date.  Arrangements are to be made at least six months prior to the wedding date.  Marriage preparation sessions, possibly including a Tobit retreat, are required.  One party must be a registered member of St. Joseph Catholic Church

RCIA

For those who are thinking about joining the Catholic Church or for those who have not been confirmed, or for those who would like to learn more about their faith.  Classes begin Sept. and end approx. May.  Call the rectory for further information.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction - What is it?  It is meeting one-on-one once a month with a spiritual director to be challenged and supported on your spiritual journey.  The director is a companion for you on your spiritual walk.  The director can help you see God in all aspects of your life.  The director can help you see God in your grieving, God in your anger, God in your joy, God in work and play, God in the ordinary every day events of your life.  This ministry is available to St. Joseph's parishioners free of charge.  For those outside of the parish, the fee is $35.00 an hour.
